Abstract

In capture-recapture studies the size of an animal population can be estimated by fitting a mathematical model to the capture-recapture histories of animals caught in repeated trapping experiments. Of particular interest are estimates of the number of animals never caught.Estimators of drinking driver populations are developed by applying certain of these models to driver history data which contain drinking driver capture - recapture information.
