Abstract

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission is responsible for ensuring the safety of consumer products retailed in the U.S. Part of the hazard identification process involves an assessment of the user's ability to interact with the product, specifically does the typical possess sufficient strength, size and information to use the product correctly.
