Human factors in relation to intersection accidents.

Abstract

An analysis is made of human factors involved in the resolution of priorities at the intersections. It is concluded that a re-ordening of the hierarchy f rules and some changes to signing practice could be of considerable benefit to drivers and lead to more effective use of traffic signs.
