Abstract

Drivers of motor vehicles have anthropometric, sensory, perceptual, motor, judgmental, and other attributes that need to be considered by vehicle designers in order to provide compatible vehicular characteristics. This paper emphasises knowledge, practice and research in the driver- vehicle system for improved performance and safer transportation.
