Abstract

Acceleration, S.I. and H.I.C. are parameters often considered in relation to head injuries produced by impact. This does not imply that any of these factors considered alone correlates very closely with the severity of the injuries. Do other parameters such as the acceleration jerk have any influence? Relationships between cerebral injuries and HIC values are defined.
