Abstract

This report describes different new concepts and methodologies of how to integrate voice activation into a multi-modal automotive environment. Beside the physical recognizer additional features are discussed to improve the overall recognition rate and the user satisfaction of a voice controlled system. This integrated system provides the basis for a natural language interface and becomes the main distinctive feature for future automotive applications. (A)
