Abstract

This article presents the design and administration of an origin-destination travel survey for central Florida's expressway system users. The study utiized hybrid methods of survey distribution (mail-out and roadside) and response (mail-back and Internet). Major differences in response rates were observed between respondents receiving the survey by mail and those receiving it at the roadside, which are discussed herein. (Author/Publisher)
