Abstract

The procedures used to identify and investigate high accident locations in Milwaukee, Wisconsin are detailed. During a four- year period, nearly 400 locations were identified as having safety deficiencies. Recommendations for corrective measures were made for 258 locations, and as of March 31, 1975, 231 of these recommendations have been implemented. "Before versus After" annual average accidents are statistically analyzed for significant accident reductions.
