Abstract

In this paper an analysis is made of the relation between illegal drugs and driving. Aspects regarding European Community regulations and the factors that influence the potential effect of illegal drugs on driving are discussed (such as frequency of drug taking, multiple drug taking, etc). Finally, the role of health professionals concerning illegal drugs and road traffic safety is commented on. (A)
