Abstract

A procedure is proposed by which actual measured traffic data can be cleared from the influences which are due to the dynamic effects of transition situations. To achieve this a deterministic dynamic model is used which provides estimates for the deviations of the data points from the steady-state characteristics as far as they are caused by transition situations.
