Abstract

Preliminary data have been accumulated from a series of seven deceleration experiments on baboons. Three of these animals were pregnant and in two cases, fetal death occurred 1-2-hr. after impact. (The third fetus and mother were sacrificed immediately after impact). The cause of fetal demise has not yet been determined.
