Abstract

This paper presents some preliminary results from an ongoing study of theimpact of various operating scenarios on the construction and quality of routes in a system for the transportation of the handicapped. The study began in 1984 at the University of Montreal, transportation Research Center.This paper will analyze the results obtained so far for a subset of external strategies which have been tested and compared in a representative real problem in a simulation mode.
