Abstract

A study of the impacts of the Gateway Bridge, Brisbane, on road freight transport was undertaken to provide information on the benefits resulting from urban road investments. The case study involved a survey of truck operating firms in Brisbane which used the Gateway Bridge at a particular time point after it was opened. This paper briefly describes the study procedure and then considers the findings.
