The authors have developed an intelligent transport system (ITS) information service platform that provides seamless, one-to-one, and one-stop services according to an end-user's profile and where they are. Three ITS service applications, a travel-assistant service, an Internet-navigation service, and a virtual-travel service, were provided by the platform over an evaluation period of four months. It was found that the "seamless" service is acceptable. Moreover, there is a strong demand for the "one-stop" service; however, information comparison is needed more than recommendation.
