Abstract

This scientific poster presents the implementation and outcome evaluation of a school based traffic safety intervention, the Preschool Pedestrian Injury Prevention Project (PPIPP) carried out in Los Angeles. Major findings were that children's traffic behaviours improved over the course of the intervention, parental behaviours also improved and significant improvement in parental behaviours also improved their childrens' safety behaviour.
