Abstract

The report sets out how managers of specialized transit services can put effective training programs for their vehicle drivers, as well as other users and parties who could benefit from formal programs of instruction, into operation. The document first identifies the elements of an effective training program, then explores potential target groups for training activities, and identifies the skills which could be taught to each.
