Abstract

In this study, recent trends and forecasts with respect to population size, age structure, household structure and ethnic composition are analyzed and their consequences forurban and regional restructuring are discussed. Emphasis is on developments in the Randstad Holland, particularly on the four larger urban agglomerations.
