Abstract

The rediscovery, in industrialized countries, of the bicycle as a means of local transport, raises the question of the forms and extent of cooperation in various countries between the bicycle and public transport modes such as buses and trains, and how such cooperation is to be assessed from the point of view of the passenger and the public transport undertaking.
