Abstract

An abstract model is proposed to enable the consideration of all aspects vehicle signal lighting. The model is intended as a starting point for creating a common basis for improved signal lighting. Items considered within the model include the information to be signalled to other road users, relevance of signals, factors affecting the efficacy of signal lighting, and how to improve and adapt signal lighting. For the covering abstract see ITRD E123380.
