Abstract

Drivers are involved in more than 85% of all accidents in Jordan because they are facing rapid developments in the traffic on the road. Drivers should be subjected to intensive traffic education when they are children, proper driving training when they are adults, and proper control when they start driving on the road. Analysis of questionnaires revealed defects in traffic safety awareness among drivers and pedestrians. It reflected defects in training centers and trainers, and defects in control on drivers on the road. (Author/publisher).
