Abstract

The joint motorcycle and moped strategy from 2010 has been developed and modified in accordance with new EU goals and knowledge, as well as the measures of the stakeholders. The objective of the new strategy is to demonstrate how the number of motorcycle and moped fatalities can be halved, and how the number of seriously injured can be reduced by 40% between the years 2010 to 2020.
