Abstract

Indentification of well-known symbols and new symbols was investigated by inquiries. Differences in identification between trained and untrained subjects are shown. Influences of sex, age, and professional education are evaluated. The results showed no significant influence of sex, age, professional experience, or ownership of a driver license on the indentification after training.
