Abstract

Microcomputers are now becoming common because of the combination of the factors of relatively low costs, simple programming languages, and usefulness in business, engineering, and scientific endeavours. Automobile crash reconstruction is an area in which the microcomputer may serve a useful role. A program, Applecrash, is presented in the Basic language of the Apple microcomputer and performs an accident reconstruction. The Apple Basic language is readily changed to the slightly different Basic language used on other brand microcomputers.
