Abstract

This report focuses on the development of new individual mobility services. Individual mobility services are defined as information services providing the traveller individual assistance from origing to destination, before, during and after the trip. The envisaged new individual mobility service is described in the study: which functionalities and characteristics are associated with the service and how does the service fit into the current transport system. Finally, an inventory of existing mobility services has been made in order to estimate the added value of the new individual mobility service. It was concluded that the new individual mobility service as presented in this report can enrich the existing supply of mobility services by offering integral multimodal, individual and real time information.
