Abstract

The principle of a dynamometer that permits laboratory simulation of the road behavior of a passenger car under all condition is briefly reviewed. The application of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 105 in correlating and comparing road test results with the simulator performance of a given car in braking activities is discussed.
