Abstract

The mathematical model describing the dynamic behaviour of a motorcycle in sharp curves, is enlarged to include a lumped frame elasticity and a non-rigid rider body. The description of the tyre behaviour has been refined by inclusion of several moment-generating mechanisms. Measurements have been conducted to quantify the elastic properties of the frame.
