Abstract

As part of a master thesis, a survey was made to see if there is a changein the behavior of buying a PTA (Personal Travel Assistant) by the driver. There was no significant change recognized between owner and non-owners of PTA in the means of active observation of TIwR (Traffic Information with Recommendations). Most of the drivers want re-routing recommendations with the TI. These recommendations can also have a negative impact on those can not be divided. The highest trust in TIwR and the degree of acceptanceof the recommendation are paid into VMS (Variable message signs). Owners of PTA pay more attention to TI.
