Abstract

The seat unquestionably represents an important element for the vehicle occupant protection system. The objective of this paper is a systematic representation of the influence of seat design on the effectiveness of the influence of seat design on the effectiveness of the three-point automatic belt system. It represents also a brief analysis and interpretation of parallels with results from other study sources. Investigation has been made of current production seats under frontal crash conditions.
