Abstract

It is known that suspension friction reduces vehicle rider comfort. But the characteristics of the suspension friction are very difficult to analyze because of their nonlinearity and random input from the road surface. In this paper, the characteristics of the suspension friction are analyzed using a statistical method and computer simulation technique.
