Abstract

Performance characteristics from a tire test program were together with tire design and construction information organized in a computer program that would quickly entract, correlate, and display any data of interest. As examples of the capabilities of the program (which is available to anyone interested in tire performance), the gross effects of wheel diameter, aspect ratio, cord and belt material, and tire construction on linear and non-linear tire cornering and braking characteristics are identified.
