Abstract
For policy- making in goods transport a strategic planning model can be very helpful. The developments in demand and supply, related to economic grow th and technological improvements are important and have to be generated by the model. INFOCARGO offers in principle the opportunity to trace out the impacts on traffic, economy and environment of changes in volume, composition, modal split e. g. in goods transport.
