Abstract

The technique for the estimation of an origin-destination matrix from traffic counts has become common in the last few years. Two problems in the estimation technique are its sensitivity for errors in the input data and the fact that is was not possible to calculate a future OD-matrix. In this paper some techniques are described to find these errors, to prevent and to eliminate them.
