Abstract
Some of the important findings concerning injuries and injury production in a study of injury-producing traffic accident in Adelaide, South Australia, are presented. This study was done by a team consisting of a physician and an engineer, with the aim of obtaining data, in Australia conditions, basic to the design of roads, vehicles and traffic organization by the objective on-the-spot study of the medical and engineering aspects of injury-producing accidents.
