This issue of Current Topics includes over 80 abstracts of reports, conference papers, books and journal articles which focus on the injuries that occur in different types of traffic accidents including motorcycles. Articles include those involving rear-end collisions, front end and side impacts. Also included are measures in vehicle design to combat injury figures, in particular air bags, seats and head restraints. Methods of predicting injuries from traffic accidents are included.
