Abstract

The purpose of the report is to describe motorcycle injuries in Sacramento during 1970 and to examine certain factors associated with their concurrence. The report focuses on specific findings concerning the nature and severity of trauma associated with collisions. Physicians should be alert to the fact that persons injured in motorcycle collisions commonly sustain multiple fractures and other serious injuries.
