Abstract

A study is described on the interior safety of the cars from different angles of approach (1) car weight (2) production start year (3) different models (4) head restraints, (5) seat belts. Some of the conclusions drawn from this study are (1) the weight of the car influences the interior safety but newer car constructions have diminished this effect (2) head restraints do not function optimally and (3) the use of seat belts can be increased.
