Vor dem Hintergrund der wachsenden Anzahl und des zunehmenden Vernetzungsgrads von elektronischen Komponenten im modernen Kraftfahrzeug kommt der Kfz-Diagnose eine strategische Bedeutung zu. Die derzeitigen Verfahren der Diagnose-Implementierung bieten noch einen breiten Optimierungsspielraum im Hinblick auf Kostensenkung und Oualitaetssteigerung in diesem Bereich. Durch die Realisierung eines konsequenten "single-source" Konzepts, welches einfach in die bestehenden Prozesse integrierbar ist und mit Werkzeugen, die den Entwickler bestmoeglich unterstuetzen, koennen die Diagnose-Entwicklungsprozesse weiter optimiert werden. (A) Abstract in English: Nowadays the diversity of automobile variants is steadily increasing. At the same time the scope and the complexity of electronic components in the automobile are growing and additionally development times are diminishing. Against the background of the fast growing complexity - determined by the quantity and the high networking rate of the components - the diagnostics in the automobile in development, production and maintenance will assume further importance.
