Abstract
This digest is an overview of the mission that investigated innovative techniques in the planning and financing of public transportation projects in Barcelona, Spain; Copenhagen, Denmark; Shanghai, China; and Osaka, Japan. This mission was part of the International Transit Studies Program of the Transit Cooperative Research Program (TCRP). The digest is based on individual reports provided by the team members and reflects the views of the team members, who are responsible for the facts and accuracy of the data presented.
