Abstract

Recently developed crash barriers incorporate light section steel posts standing in concrete sockets, and supporting the horizontal beams of the barrier at the required height. A need has therefore arisen to locate the posts accurately for height, vertically and line, ad quickly as possible . A rig mounted on castor wheels has been designed to be rolled along the adjacent carriageway.SN
