Instrumental colorimetry of retroreflective sign materials.

Abstract

Because color-coded applications of highway signs increase, specification of colours and colour tolerances are required. As a result of studies procedures for making colorimetric and photometric measurements were developed. On the basis of the colour measurements and their variability tentative recommendations for colour boundaries are prepared.
