Abstract

Integrated transport policy, planning and service delivery is a basic must for maximising achievement of service goals. Yet implementation remains both difficult and elusive, partly because of the nature of transport demand and partly because of the inherent complexity of the task. A number of issues arise at the policy, system design and operational levels in seeking to implement more integrated transport, the paper suggesting directions likely to enhance integration.
