Abstract

Introduction of new developments in monitoring systems is a major task for traffic operators. Integration methods have to be investigated and assessed to improve existing systems. A technique allowing the integration of several algorithms used for incident detection is considered. Experimental tests performed on the Ile-de-France motorway network reveal the potential benefits of the integrated approach. (A)
