Abstract

In this paper, an intelligent position sensor for a magnet based autonomous vehicle was described. In the magnetic positioning system, the magnetic field of Earth is a background disturbance. It should be estimated a real-time and the memory space should be reduced in implementation. To solve the above problems, this paper proposes the magnetic sensors array includes a vertical field, the linear region of the sensor output, and a method of position determination using a simple equation with a microcontroller. The practicability of the proposal is verified for magnetic position sensing by the experimental results. For the covering abstract see ITRD E134653.
