Abstract

Interior lighting control systems for cars should increase safety and comfort. Such systems are designed to adjust to the exterior illumination so that switches, levers and control panels are sufficiently bright to be detected correctly but glare is avoided. The grouping of interior lamps in vehicles is described. The systematic conception and physical implementation of interior lighting control are discussed. For the covering abstract see ITRD E123380.
