Abstract

An analysis of passenger injury accidents is being conducted in Germany. Among the 10271 accidents evaluated so far 41.3 percent were intersection accidents, 30.2 percent were rear-end collisions, and 28.5 percent were head-on collisions. Passenger injuries by accident type, frequency of interior damage, injuries by seat occupation, and safety belt effectiveness in the accidents studies are discussed.
