Urban and regional traffic affect specifically every area of human activity. Demands arising from a variety of planning tasks must be answered by a system of methods which will both identify and analyse traffic effects, aiming to develop, on the basis of this information, specific measures to extensively meet the requirements of the public, traffic environment and traffic itself. The effects of selected Traffic System Management measures in influencing the mode choice in favour of public transit are investigated and examples of these effects are presented in quality profiles.
