Abstract

For a long time the problem of driver's behaviour have attracted the attention of numerous Bodies, but BP has set up a study Group entrusted with formulating a total research programmes, with the participation of experts, BP representative and a representative of the Automobile Club d'Italia. Before starting to set up a draft programme, the Study Group has pointed out the original characteristics of this research on driver's behaviour. This research should be: total, approaching all the aspects of driver's behaviour (i.e. psychological, physiological etc.) - multidisciplinary (scientist and practitioners in various specialities) - international - carried out parallely in the field and experimentally, as well as in laboralorSy. - brought to practically workable conclusions - continuous. The details of this experimental programme will be fixed at a colloquium dedicated to this problem.
