Abstract

This paper analyses the locational choices and perceptions of international firms in a local economy. It addresses in particular the behaviour of Japanese firms in the Dutch city of Amstelveen near Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. Beside a quantitative analysis, a recently developed meta-analytic technique, viz. rough set analysis, is applied to identify various critical success factors. (A)
