Abstract

The report reviews research carried out in Austria on: (1) design and drafting of projects- the program system CADOR (computer aided design of roads) is an interactive graphics system for designing roads, and is provided with a program interface to the digital terrain model "ATOS". Not limited to a purely graphical representation of results, it attempts to develop them interactively, i.e. automatically developed graphic design proposals are fine- tuned by dialogue: (2) environmental problems, (3) safety and (4) level of service.
