Abstract

This book is concerned with the mathematical treatment of statistical models. Five important statistical models are discussed, which are the basis for many of the applications in statistics, and these five models are presented from the point of view of infinite-model theory. Throughout the book emphasis is placed on the power of tests and on the width of confidence intervals.
